have the opportunity to perform in a range of different sports both locally,
state wide and nationally. The school has a proud history of producing a number
of the sunshine coast best athletes.

Students at Mooloolaba SS
also have the opportunity to participate in other local and statewide
competitions. These events included AFL Qld Schools Cup, rugby league
Development Cup and Annette Brander Shield, Oz tag Qld All schools, cricket T20
Blast, surfing OPC Event, and surf lifesaving District Surfs kills Carnival.
Students who excel at
certain sports to also have the opportunity to attend Coastal District trials
after school in order to make representative teams. These District teams attend
Regional trials where a Sunshine Coast team is selected to attend State
Championships.
