state wide and nationally. The school has a proud history of producing a number

Students at Mooloolaba SS also have the opportunity to participate in other local and state-wide competitions. These events included AFL Qld Schools Cup, rugby league Development Cup and Billy Moore Shield, Netball and the Lightning Cup, Soccer and S.E.Q Championship, NFL Flag State Championship, cricket T20 Blast, Surfing Excellence Programme, Skate Excellence Programme, Run Club and surf lifesaving District Surf skills Carnival.
Students who excel at certain sports to also have the opportunity to attend Coastal District trials after school in order to make representative teams. These District teams attend Regional Trials where a Sunshine Coast Team is selected to attend State Championships.
