Eisteddfod Success

Last week our senior choir, Bella Voce, did our school proud by achieving a well-deserved third place at the Eisteddfod. Competing against 10 other schools (8 private and 2 state schools), Mooloolaba once again showed they are one of the Sunshine Coast’s premier school choirs. Mr Dauer, the choir’s conductor, was thrilled with the result given the quality of the opposition. Thanks also to Mr Neil Booth who accompanied the choir on the day.

Sarah Morse and Charlotte Wall also competed in the solo recorder section of the Eisteddfod. Against a large field of quality soloists Sarah took out first place, playing Joel’s Song (named after Mr Dauer’s son). An amazing effort Sarah.
